Mentholated witch hazel, USB

Lather was a bit thin. Having to dial back into LPL - I've never found it to 'explode' with lather for me but it performs well with what suds are produced. A nice, gentle scent.

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

vintage rebranded 1964 Macys silvertip flopmeister
Schick F type/Schick Plus Platinum (NOS)
The Soap Opera Himalaya SS
Neutrogena oil free moisture sensitive skin
Givenchy 'Xeryus' EdT (vintage black bottle juice)

Must be at least 6-7 shaves on this blade and still nice. Man, the F type is easy to get inna groove with.

Been using this extremely inexpensive soap quite a bit.....better than most others I have lathered up over the years. Real easy to get thick and slippery fluffiness that smells pleasantly woodsy...classic melt and pour item regarding whipping things up fast. Better than usual post shave feel, maybe because of the added soy and shea butter in the mix. Well worth a group buy for you Limeys and other foreigners at less than $5 a puck. Shipping might be pricey though to Limeyland.

BBS results,

Martin

I wanted a simple shave this morning. Hot towel and scrub for an invigorating prep stage. Lathered up with oodles of beautiful Sandalwood lather and got three passes out the way in very quick succession. A quick touch up and fools pass on the upper lip and it was BBS all round. Simple and effective shave.

Result? 5/5. Yep, a simple effective shave. Lovely.

3 pass, 2 pass was good enough, but I had more time so why not.
