Another excellent shave today with this setup. I really enjoy this razor. Going to buy some beer and try and make it through a game without buying any shaving related products. Last week I ended up buying a Sabre Base Plate L 2 from Blackland.

Thanks to Matt @Reevers for trading me this wonderful B&M Seville for a tub of Obsidian. The Seville soap is right down my cassa, it's a citrus opening but grounded with oakmoss and really does whisk me off to Seville walking through an Orange grove with the smell of the trees and the soil beneath my feet. Wonderful!
Backed up with the Muhle Rocca and Ferdmann TGN with a Shark blade.
This is my best shave of the year and honestly my face feels that smooth I doubt I'll beat it all year.

Sunday the 7th of January:

Razor - Merkur 45 - the only DE I own, and it's a beauty. Real close.
Blade - Wilkinson Sword - a pack cost 50p in Boyes. Be rude not to.
Cream - Gentlemen's Face Care Club - for under £8 this is a quality cream. Always enjoy using it.
Brush - Progress Vulfix 404 Grosvenor - Great value for money, and the handle is pure class.
Post shave - Proraso menthol - aftershave splash & lotion. Need help to clear a blocked nose. Great skin care, but didn't help with the man-flu...

A cheap, cheerful & close shave.

I would have said the same. I think that is why it took a bit longer then I would of hoped. I was extra careful not wanting to bleed to death on the bathroom floor.
