Greetings,

A superb sunday morning 3 pass + pick ups dfs shave with no errors to report.

i've never had a un-acceptable shave with my german made razors. You can't go wrong with Merkur or Muhle razors for price quality, & performance. Both are equally the same in many ways.

First use of the Arko maximum comfort cream, like all the Arko creams, it provided me with a slick protective lather no drying out issues, and a good post shave feeling..what more could i ask for.
The star of the shave was yet again the Dorco P.P. blade..these blades are fastly becoming my top de blade, every razor i've paired them up with has been a very comfortable partnership..Superb.:)

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Arko~ Comfort Cologne.

My face is feeling silky smooth, cool & irritation free.;)

Enjoy your sunday, ladies & gentlemen.

soap: Haslinger Ringelblumen - good soap as usual from Austria
brush: 24 mm finest two-band badger from Vigshaving - developed into a really nice brush
razor: F W Söderen Frameback - nice flowing feel to the blade

Not happy with my shave yesterday but using a sharper angle WTG did the trick this morning resulting in a much closer shave. I guess switching between shavette and straight razor I need to pay more attention to technique.

After the Featherweight yesterday I'd thought I'd use it's sibling, the G-Bar.
A very nice, relaxed, three pass Sunday morning shave, although the blade on only it's fourth use is finished.
I hope you enjoy your Sunday.

Sunday 10th June

Vitos Preshave Cream and Bloom Water
Wickham 1912 Scottish Heather Soap
Omega 10098 Boar Brush
Giles Shaving Co Bowl
Ever Ready 1924 Razor with a shimmed SS Blade
Alum Block and Rinse
Aloe Vera Gel
Pinaud Clubman AS
Worth pour Homme EDT

This was a lovely Sunday Morning shave :)
The ER 1924 has not had much use from me.......the first few times I used it......it didn't quite 'click' and I always returned to the 1912 patterns.
Today everything worked in harmony and I had an absolute 'cracker' of a shave.
Three passes for a BBS result!
