Steamers

So; I've been muddling along with my basic steamer with the one fallen off handle for years. Today, I've managed to burn it to a crisp. Whilst some diligent brillo action might retrieve it, what with the broken handle, I feel I can justify a replacement.
Current one is about 20cm diameter; I'm torn between this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231502568931?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Feel I need more steamer space one way or another; wondered whether with 3 steamer pots (currently have 2), the top one is noticably cooler? And do any of you find a regular/frequent use for a bain marie pot?

I don't like the petal steamers....so I've gone for the 3 steamer pots and bain marie option. I can use the bain marie for lotion experiments. :)

I think anything above 3 tiers starts to defeat the object, with the upper tiers leaving veg not done properly.
better off running two steamers (gasp) side by side.

Thanks Alex, I expect the top one of the three steamers won't cook as quickly, but hoping that may be an advantage for veg that don't take so long to cook. We shall see.....

Does this mean the long awaited pre-shave oils and post-shave balms are just around the corner? Now you've gone international the pressure is on to expand your range! Besides which, I want them! Britain's very own reasonably priced, high quality, beautifully scented oils and goos! Has to be a winner!

Oh! by the way, imo, stainless pots should be thick enough gauge to hurt if you drop one on your toes. The whole of India disagrees, but then ...

I'd like to get to a post shave balm, but don't get much time to experiment.
Totally agree about the steel; hoping my new pot will qualify as a deadly weapon. :)
