What a cynical lot. I have a wife that supports me in this hobby/obsession as well. In fact, she moved her stuff to the guest bathroom so I would have more room in the master. She helps me hunt at antiques shops as well. It sounds like Gordy lucked out.

I've found a cool way of getting around my beloved. I bought a fabulously rare Ben Hur Mikron adjustable, the most I'd ever spent on a razor. After giving it a good trying out, I decided it wasn't for me and ended up trading it for an iPhone, which I then traded for a 4th Gen ipad for the missus.

I might have spent xxx on the razor but I got to own and use it for a while and my darling is far more sympathetic to my "punts" now. Everybody happy.
