Tapatalk issue

This may not be a problem your end but it can't help to ask.

When I open up a thread I am taken straight to the very last post rather than the last unread (as happens on my other forums).

This only happens when I am logged into the site, if I sign out and view as a guest the problem doesn't occur. As you can imagine this can be very frustrating but hopefully is something easily solved.

All help is much appreciated.
 
If you press the top left button, until you see all of your forums in a list, along the bottom should be settings. Then on loading behaviour select first unread.

Tried all this. I read 3/4 forums via tapatalk and all the others take me to first unread whereas TSR always takes me to the last post still.
 
Which variant of the Tapatalk application?

The only one I'm aware of with a problem in that respect currently is Tapatalk 4 (private beta 4 and earlier) for Android. Fixed in the current beta though.

Usual reason for it is an outdated application on your end or outdated plugin at this end (we are currently bang up to date)
 
I have the same problem with Tapatalk on iOS but this has always been the case. I just thought this was the way the app worked where you get taken to the last post on a thread.
 
All you can do is keep checking for updates to the app at your end.

One thing to consider is that Tapatalk 1.x for iOS isn't the train that gets the most attention from Tapatalk's developers. They moved on to Tapatalk 2.x some time ago.

If you are that bothered by it though, it is a Tapatalk fault rather than our fault so try their forums.

We keep right up to date with the plug in here (even have a post release hotfix applied since the last version was published)
 
Thanks Hunnymonster, think I'll pay the £2 for Tapatalk2 and hope that resolves my issue as I enjoy this forum but this issue has been putting me off.

Downloaded and the issue isn't resolved :(
 
Is there a problem with tapatalk at the moment just installed on ipad but wont connect to tsr but will to other forums? To make matters worse vodaphone seem to be blocking tsr on the browser

Nope but Vodafone (amongst others) erroneously believe us to be porn...

yeah you can to ring vodaphone or go into store and ask them to remove contrnt restriction as it blocks gambling sites as well
