evening all


just been browsing the eveil bay must stop doing this, :lol: and picked up one of the above for the the sum of £2.49 the listing didn't give any great info basic photo ect but from what i could see it looked at least razor shaped. any body have one of these.any good will post some photos when it comes.
And who knows it could be on its way to Neil for a bit of tlc
 
They´re supposed to be good, I´ve got one with Neil, but haven´t actually tried one, yet :D I love the tin boxes they often comes with.
 
I have a Taylors 1000 in fairly good condition, I maay send it to Neil for restoration, but I think the Crown & Sword will go off next when I get the Iron Duke back, I would be greatful if anyone of the guys in this straight razor forum could tell me more about the Iron Duke razor I have sent to neil for restoration, I simply cannot find any information about this razor, even though it looks like a very high end quality made razor, it's even drawn a blank on the sraightrazorplace, must be a fairly rare model?

evening all
the taylors 1000 came in the post today its a bit rough around the edges.with some rust and pitting and lovely( not really) army green coloured scales been looking through the restoration section looks like some sand paper and decent metal polish is in order .

Looks like some good Sheffield steel in good shape. Some Maas and elbow grease should clean it up real nice and quick. Good find. Do post pictures when its all cleaned up.
