Nice looking razor, my immediate thought was blackland, timeless and rocnel styling.

Based on what I found in looking this thing up its going to cost a bit, ~$800. The Essence is good but until I see reviews or a passaround (less likely) I'll certainly be thinking more than twice.

This price was seemingly on a test page tedalus put up and didn't mean to make it public, so it may not be that much.

As I said...a very good looking razor. But for the price will it shave any better than...let's say...a Karve Overlander? A Blutt BR1.20? The Athena or the S-H Apollo? I don't think so. So it becomes a matter of design and looks to prospective buyers and I daresay there will be those who will buy it.

I understand all that you've said and agree to a point but the same could be said regarding top money cars v less expensive one's.
I've let some high price razors well alone only to wish I had pulled the trigger later, the Hone Ti for example.
