I'd never come across one of these before - it's a Sheffield Razor and over 7/8". I replaced the scales which were plain Celluloid with some light horn that came up nicely and a dark horn wedge.

Another beauty Rob. I do like your choices of scales.

Please tell me this one isn't going on your selling list :)

Ok - it's not on the list - for the time being. I have an informal agreement with my wife that if I keep a restore I have to release one from my existing rotation - it's a good idea but becomes quite painful.

I shaved with this today and is was very nice - I don't usually favour big blades like this but have to say that it doesn't feel awkward. It must be down to the balance as even though the scales are big they are quite thin and light.

Nice Job, the good thing about scales they are not far from original shape, I mean it looks classic and original. Is it full hollow grind?

Yes, full + hollow grind - not quite the same as Filarmonica but not far off.
