I spied that one this afternoon ( whilst getting well and truly outbid on an aristo). Spent the evening on eBay.Fr where there are some quite reasonably priced razors if you can persuade the seller to send to the UK.

If you look closely the top cap is at an angle to the (upsidedown) base plate... maybe he's trying to make a new type of slant razor?

There are quite a few posts where this was identified as a potential problem - haven't noticed any recently, but I do recall wrong assembly being mentioned by a few people as the reason for a rough shave.
