Titan H1

Hi All.

While awaiting the Weber DLC to be back in stock, I stumbled upon this, the Titan H1 stainless steel razor. Very favourable reviews and stunning looks.

Ordered yesterday with free shipping to the UK. Worked out at 115 GBP. Will report back when received.

Cheers

That looks rather nice, be good to know what you think of it.

Looks very nice indeed, but for once I don't feel a lust for it since my Weber and UFO handles turned up.

I know what you mean. I think my razor buying is almost complete.

Between the Feather AS-D1 and the Weber ARC Bulldog, I have my stainless urge fulfilled.

The Merkur 34c, 37c, and Futur, that covers them, I have an EJ DE86 en route, and I think I'll buy a Muhle R41, then I will be done.

I will probably sell most of my vintage TTOs as they just don't get used any more.

Interesting.. and I've saved that reference. Be very interested in your views.

I'm interested in the Weber, Feather AS-D1 also... I tend to think that heavily-engineered chunks of stainless steel are the way to go... Just my opinion, but if the blade is clamped firmly into the correct position then that should cover a multitude of sins.

Looks well made, found a review

You are now officially an enabler, codex! That's my polling day wages blown in advance.

From those reviews, I'm getting not as good as a Weber but with a bit more aggression. Meaning choose a safe blade and work up - good old 7 o'c greens!

Curses, I had that poll money ear-marked! When will it end????

Yeah, that's why I'm picking that as the one I try first, and I hope I'll be satisfied enough to not want to roll the dice with another.

Well, it was a total impulse buy after seeing it and reading the reviews. Sounds like it could be a bit more aggressive than the Weber, but hopefully not too aggressive.

Although a relative newbie to DE, I will try to give a review when I have tried it out.

I still intend to buy a Weber, as soon as they are back in stock.

There is a Muhle R41 for sale on the bay

Well I'm sure if you don't like it there wont be any shortage of buyers on here.
