I've really enjoyed owning and using this but as with everything in this hobby, after a while I like to change things up which means someone else gets to enjoy this little beauty.
Vintage "Extra Large" (24mm knot) Gillette branded shaving brush made by the original Rooney company. Believed to be circa 1960's, certainly predates the logo change so somewhere between 1964-1974. This was NOS (new old stock) when I acquired it, I have gently broken it in and it's now at its prime in my opinion, offering what I feel is the best boar experience available (the best I've ever used anyway!) It's dense, soft, has a little scrub, good backbone, perfect splay... It's just an absolute belter of a brush.
Comes in the original box which is in good condition for age, the brush itself is also VGC, the little gold Rooney water transfer fell off on the first use.
Just asking what it owes me, so £13 delivered... If you like boars, trust me this could be the best £13 you ever spent
