Come to think of it, no he wouldn't. I think he'd have wanted me to get something nice, and possibly for it to remind them of the person he - my father - was. I'll still remember him just by wearing it I reckon. Thanks.

You do have my sympathy. My own mother died just over two years ago and I'll never forget the date. If you wanted to have a reminder of your father, how about his date of birth? Or, failing that, as you say, just enjoy the watch as a reminder of him. Do let us know what you end up getting.

Hi guys,
My watch arrived Monday. I was somewhat shocked, as it was only ordered at 11.35pm Sunday night. Turning up Monday at 4.30 pm. It was a nightmare getting it going though. Had to phone Citizen as it couldn't find the radio signal. So I had to do a restart on it. Now it's running fine. Thank goodness. Now just need a link or two removed. It does look beautiful though, and I will remember my father every time I see it. Thanks for the help, and thanks very much for the kind words.
