Haven't tried either so will be interested to see how they perform for me - I know Floïd is good stuff but the Prep is entirely new to me!

Perfect! Once you have honed your stropping technique and cut that up a bit, and you will you can think about something else then. Good luck. P.

I am no expert but that should be absolutely fine as a starter strop. It does the job that is required of it and if you are new to stropping I guarantee you will put a nick in it.
That's coming from a man of experience.

No its not unfortunately But I have a Gillette slim in my birth year L3

If you get on with the Prep ASB, look into their pre-shave cream - think Proraso Green but better ingredient list and less harsh. Super for all sorts of uses. I actually enjoy it as an aftershave cream ... just a dot rubbed all over my face after the cold wash. Super-crisp and ready for an aftershave splash.
