My 9 month old daughter added a third word to her vocabulary, along with ‘Mum-mum' and ‘Yeah' she started saying ‘woof' – she loves dogs or anything to do with dogs. Friday night everything was ‘woof' – she loves her new word and says it as much as possible.
This was great – apart from my wife and I were supporting a colleague by participating in the Bournemouth Pride march on Saturday, and my daughters ‘woof' word sounds a lot like another word. There we were walking along surrounded by 'fabulous' colourful people and my 9 month old daughter was smiling and waving at everyone saying ‘poof, poof, poof'
One of the drag queens came over and said, ‘you've got that right girl' and gave her a kiss. She got a lot of attention even though she was inadvertantly insulting everyone.
It was a fun day out with some amazing people. Walking alongside Miss Dorset was a highlight (for me - not my wife)
