What's your favourite stick?

I prefer creams myself, I've only tried 3 sticks,

1. Palmolive, foams up well, cheap as chips (49p in most supermarkets), smells really fresh in an old fashioned soap kind of way.
2. Arko, foams up marvellously, reasonably cheap, smells really fresh as well(long running debates on that one).
3. TOBS Sandalwood, foams up well, a bit more expensive, has its own container, smells as good as the cream.

So it's down to your own budget and preference, if I was going on holiday soon I would take the TOBS one but thats only because I have it already, any of the others will do the job as well but you'll need a container for them or leave them when you come back. 49p isn't much to lose, probably dropped more tripping over an uneven foreign pavement.

I like LEA shave stick.
Only tried it and Palmolive but it's so soft and lathers up nicely using the face-rub method.

I find Palmolive too difficult to use in this manner, which is ideal for travelling and where grating is hardly an option.
On the hit list are La Toja and Arko.

Palmolive.

It is the best performing soap on the planet - by a country mile.

Smells OK too.

Palmolive only stick - indeed any sort of soap - I've ever finished.
Arko is also good.
La Toja if you like the scent - bit much for me.
Erasmic is also good but I've only tried old stock.
