Tried my first Gillette 7 O'clock Super Stainless today ( courtesy of Canuck, thank you! ) and I noticed these, and some other brands, have numbers on them - just wondered why? Is there any significance I'm not aware of?
If you use your blade more than once and you take it out to rinse it off and palm strop; they are a convenient way to remember which way to put it back in. If those kind of thing matter to you.
