Are these any good? Are they sharper and/or smoother than the widely available modern German ones?

I got a pack freebie with an order of other blades and found them to be one of the most awful blades. Rough, skin was raw and just a draggy scraping shave. I am sure some will like them but my experience of them says they are only good for window paint scraping and even at that I would find something sharper in case i damaged the glass.
The plastic holder on the pack I got was damaged so maybe I got an oddball so I could be doing them an injustice. However the damage to the holder didn't look like the blades would have been affected.
I would highly recommend you source a sample pack or blade. I would send you some only I threw the remnants I had out. It was not worth risking them if they were in any way suspect.
