Would you run ten miles for a free Starbucks latte?

This was a headline of a story I spotted on the Telegraph website, and it got me wondering less about what I'd be prepared to do for a free Starbucks coffee and more about the lengths I'd go to in order to avoid having to have a Starbucks coffee.

Starbucks "coffee" is vile crud. I've never understood how anyone can drink it. I'll stick to Costa if I'm looking for a coffee while I'm out and about. I usually have my own with me.

I think there's a lot of coffee snobbery in this thread.

I've had quite a few Starbucks and enjoyed almost all of them. I actually prefer it to Costa TBH (though I think Cafe Nero is slightly better).

Maybe you can really taste the difference if you cleanse your palate with a nice sorbet, gargle it like wine then gozz it into the bucket.

If you're like me and have it in a latte then I think it tastes fine.

I can taste the difference when I use my own machine and own beans BTW.
