That will improve after a while. Once you have sweated under the cast for a few weeks it will develop a rather unpleasant stench and your wife will insist that you sleep downstairs on the sofa, sparing you the journey upstairs.I am going to have another wee dram now before bed. Going up the stairs backwards using my bum to go up the steps is easier after a tipple

I luckily found the one I used five years ago. They do work and you can have a shower or bath without getting the cast soaked.
