Rate The Last Film You Watched

Tomorrowland.
A nice "soft sci-fi" targeting a younger audience. Good acting and visuals. I found it to drag on a bit but if you're 12 you'll probably like it more.

Um...... yes it is quite wordy, but I liked it for the same reasons I still love Reservoir Dogs, most of the 'action' takes place in one location.

'Reservoir Dogs' was good; actually quite spontaneous. Dialogue was tamed back and actors acted, rather than read scripts. As he gained an audience, that changed. Shame, as I think he ruined some great concepts with overly wordy plots. I'll still watch it ('The Hateful Eight') and most likely buy it for keeps.

It is Friday night ... hic! What do you mean? :D

No, what I mean in all that is ... I do hold Tarantino with some regard, certainly a good cut above many other film makers, but he does over-egg the pudding and it does get tiresome. With a second or third watch, often in the background, the good film that resides beneath the contrived dialogue comes out and then I enjoy it. I often have films on in the background. I've seen them, so I know "what they look like" and so the storyline bubbles along while my mind can watch it as I want to watch it. Once I know the story.

I feel the same way about dating really.

That ... erm, actually rather suggests ... erm, prostitutes?

Lol no - I meant if you go out with a very attractive girl you're a bit distracted by that the first/second date but after a while you start to see beyond that.
Hm, that sounded better than it did in my head.
Never mind - moving on :)
