Brush: Frank Shaving 20mm Best Badger
Cream: Cella
Razor: Parker 99R
Blade: Lord Super Chrome (1)

I had intended to change soaps this morning, but didn't think it fair to not let the badger at the Cella. It didn't disappoint.

There's never a quiet blade in the Parker, but the Lord made less noise than most.

It was an unexceptional shave, everything quietly doing its job, except for the fact that whilst going XTG on the second pass on my chin (I usually go ATG there) I nicked the edge of the blade into the space just below my bottom lip. 100% user error. There was a lot of blood, but a small square of torn off loo roll saw it completely healed by the time I'd finished my morning toast. I really must invest in a styptic.

Happy shaving, all.

This shave was anything but manic, a very relaxed Monday morning shave.
Happy Shaving one and all.
Interesting razor you have there - can you tell more about it ?
Is it a vintage Gillette Old Type copy or so ?

Thanks, it is definitely based on an OT though the teeth are thicker and less curved.
It's from a British Dept. store called Marks & Spencer (hence Marspen) circa early to late 1930s.
Edit: was trying to work out if 1933 was early or mid :)
