Aquisitions - October 2024

Ooh! You bought one for each of us @Johnny Bravo ... how kind! :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, that Erasmic formulation is one of the later ones and it's not terrible ... but not great either. My preference is to grate it and then brush on the dry side and a good loading gets the best from it, but you'll find your way I'm sure. The Palmolive is ... Palmolive ... and it's great, whatever the weather.

I won't be running back and buying the rest of the Erasmic stock then and I have never even tried the palmolive would you believe.

I do have that specific formulation of Erasmic stick (now grated). It's certainly better than the one that preceded it. Give it a go anyway.
It was 75p so I won't be crying of it sucks.
That wouldn't even buy me a coffee from McDonald's.

Just got this off the Dark Web (Ebay)

It’s a large, uncompromising lump of plastic but looks like it will do the job better than my father-in-law’s blue plastic NHS denture tub. I will hide this hideous carbuncle in the cabinet between shaves.

I rather like the classy ceramic versions you can get from the usual shaving emporia, but I can’t trust myself not to drop the damn thing on the tiled floor.

If it doesn’t work I’m going to paint it white and use it as a Star Wars Stormtrooper helmet for a Christmas fancy dress party.

The shaving obsession leads one down all kinds of fascinating avenues.

Pip pip!
