Family photo from Left to Right
Vulfix 404 Grosvenor - Mixed badger and bristle knot, superb handle.
Omega Pro 48 - First boar brush and not really used it. Don't like the chrome handle
Semogue 830 - Lovely face lathering brush
Omega 10015 - Cheap and cheerful, great little brush
Omega 40033 - Great little travel brush, most recent boar brush.
Omega 50068 - Bambino brush, very good for face lathering.
Omega 11126 - Love the handle on this one, perfect for use with Cella.
Omega 20102 - Same knot as the one next to it, had to remove the sticker, ruined the aesthetic
Omega 10098 - My favourite boar brush, possibly my favourite brush.
Omega 11047 - Mixed Midget. Mixed boar and badger, unfortunately it is a shedder but I have a replacement on its way to me.

They're getting there cheers, but as you said, they don't take as much breaking is as people think.Looking nicely broken in, that will be all the pan scrubbing eh!
I think it vegans that would object I know veg heads who wear leather shoes ect so shaving with a boar brush should be ok but yes as you say much underrated and misunderstood are boar brushes and nearly everyone should give one a fair go, they don't know what they are missing, there is nothing finer that one that's been well broken in!They're getting there cheers, but as you said, they don't take as much breaking is as people think.
Boars are very under rated, everyone should at least try one (apart from vegetarians of course)
View attachment 26811 View attachment 26810 I thought some of us would find it intresting to check out each others boar brushes, so here is my currant line up starting with my re handled Omega 48, Omega 21762 Italian flag , Omega pro 49, Zenith B03 A26, Semouge Owners club ash handle, Semouge 2000, Proraso/ Omega re handled in ceramic, and last but not least my Semouge 1305.
Let's see yours!
In a word ......yes, love the 1305 but love the 2000 more and easy to break inBrilliant idea! I don't have my brushes in one place so no photo but have the 1305 and omega pro 49, love them both!
Been looking at the SOC and Semogue 2000, know you rate them very highly, how do they compare to the Omega Pro 49 and 1305? Would I notice a (positive) difference if I were to buy a SOC or 2000?
