Well I have been meaning to do this for years. It's now possible as everything is finally in one place.
I will go through all my traditional Eau de Cologne's in order of production where possible.

The Original - Original Eau de Cologne by
Johann Maria Farina gegenüber dem Jülichs-Platz

Now marketed as Farina 1709 Eau de Cologne

This is an exquisite scent, although very light in strength.

Head: Bergamot, Lemon, Bitter Orange, Lime
Heart: Galbanum, Jasmine, Violet
Base: Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Musk

Nice one - a delightful cologne. (y)

The next traditional Eau de Cologne should be Caswell-Massey's Number Six of 1789 unfortunately I have never obtained it.

So this evening will be Roger and Gallet's Jean Marie Farina Eau de Cologne Extra Vieille of 1806.

This is wonderfully refreshing with essences of Lemon, Orange, Petit Grain, Lavander, Rosemary and Thyme...

I may have also skipped 4711 Echt Kölnisch Wasser. They may have a establishment date of 1796. They have a dubious history and I am on the fence if I would buy it again. I bought a bottle in 2008 and was relatively indifferent to it.

Tonight is Acqua di Genova Colonia by Acqua di Genova of 1853.

This is not widely known, but was one of many Colognes with links to high society such as the House of Savoy and Napoleon III.

It is a very nice scent with head notes of Lemon, Bergamot, Orange, and Neroli.

And heart notes of Lavander, Rosemary, Jasmine, Rose Absolute Bulgaria, and Orange Blossom.

They also do a bathroom splash...

Tonight it's Guerlain Eau de Cologne Impériale created in 1853. Basenotes said 1863, which is why it is out of order. This was allegedly created for Empress Eugénie.

It's a wonderful fresh scent with essences of Bergamot, Neroli, and Petit Grain.

I am virtually out, so I have ordered another bottle...

I have discovered more.

Tonight could possibly be Acqua Classica by Borsari Parma of 1880. However, I do not really get a traditional Eau de Cologne feedback from this. I may try it later.

So tonight it will be Guerlain's Eau de Cologne du Coq of 1894. With notes of Lavender, Bergamot, and Rosemary. Another favourite...

Another Italian Colonia. This evening it is
Acqua di Parma Colonia of 1916 by Acqua di Parma.

This is far better than Borsari. This is a Cologne with a Rose heart note. Allegedly a favourite of Audrey Hepburn and a favourite of mine...

Top Notes: Lemon, Sweet Orange, Calabrian Bergamot
Heart Notes: Lavender, Rose, Verbena, Rosemary
Base Notes: Vetiver, Sandalwood, Patchouli

This evening it is Guerlain's Eau de Fleurs de Cédrat of 1920. I first sampled this in 2010 and thought it was too expensive. Then 12 years later it became a staple in my collection. It's wonderful...

It has notes of Lemon, Cédrat, and Verbena.

I accidentally skipped Eau de Guerlain of 1974...

So this evening it is Hermès Eau d'Orange Verte. Released in 1979 as Hermes Eau de Cologne and renamed in 1999.

Eau d'Orange Verte cologne combines vibrant notes of Orange with fresh Mint and woody notes of Moss.

This is very exquisite and sophisticated...

This evening it is Guerlain's Eau de Guerlain of 1974.

Very refreshing and sublime, with notes of Lemon, Bergamot, Verbena and Thyme...

This evening it is Agua di Colonia 1916 Original by Myrurgia from 1982. Now apart of Puig Beauty.

A very good inexpensive citrus and herbal Colonia.

Top Notes: Bergamot, Orange Blossom
Heart Notes: Lemon
Base Notes: Rosemary

This is my favourite. It is divine...

Top Notes: Bergamot, Orange, Lemon
Heart Notes: Orange flower, Lavender, Rosemary
Base Notes: Patchouli, Benzoin, Musk

Tonight it is Eau de Cologne by Geo F Trumper from 1989.

I splash this on with abandon. It is very refreshing...

Top Notes – Lemon, Bergamot, Orange
Heart Notes – Rosemary, Orange Blossom

Heart notes: Clove, Neroli, Sage
Base notes: Rosemary, Musk
