I'm sure I've heard from a few people that in some forums such as badger&blade you are not allowed to discuss certain shaving gear and suppliers such as ikon razors, nanny soaps, new forrest brushes...

I can't understand the reason, some of these people are the key in the industry, could someone shed some light into this please?

Fido was banned, but you can still mention New Forest brushes

Ikon was banned and the vendor name has been filtered, discussing Nikon cameras is tricky. Not sure on the details.

Paul, Connaught, was banned and filtered:

No idea about Nanny & B&B

Thanks for providing the links to my adventure. Incidentally, the posts I made under another name were "Looks interesting" "Must give it a try" - hardly rave reviews - it was all rather silly really. I'm actually quite glad not to be part of B&B now - life's more relaxed.

I hope this thread doesn't set off another round of B&B bashing. It's Christmas coming - goodwill to all.

Wow, was not expecting to hear that from you Fido, im surprised you saw that as necessary your brushes seem very good quality, well received and everyone can see the great value for badger they hold. Glad you maintain straight and narrow now.

Quite a lot of TSR members are banned from B&B . I think they did a cull of TSR members a few months ago.

And I just got another speeding ticket - 37 mph - it's about time they removed cameras.

You could always ease off the gas... you're retired... do what the coffin-dodgers do around here, drive at a constant 26mph (until they get to the all-too-rare straight bits and then they drive at 1mph below the posted limit, before reverting to 26mph at the bends) and wear a hat.

A lot of single lane A road on the coast here. It is a 60mph limit and granted 60 is not always safe but they drive at 40 on the unlit but clear and straight 60mph zones and then speed up in the 40mph village to about 50-60 because there are lights and they can see where they are going. I have learned to just relax, no point in getting wound like a spring; I have a play list on the iPOD with some classical chilled out music specifically for this situation.

As long as I get there I am happy....most times

Would it be OK, even if they say:
