Well i don't spend big bucks on my Watches as you can see, i do like a Military "Styled" Watch though, and that is the main theme here, some are new, some are vintage, anyway.....here they are:

There is really a great variety of watches in this thread now, and a bunch of obviously enthusiastic people.

Although there are some nice high end pieces, there are also plenty of interesting watches from more usual price points. Just shows you don't need to spend a fortune.

Seems that Seiko and G-Shock both have wide ranging appeal for their value and reliability..

I confess to being a long term G-Shock fan buying my first one in 1985. I now own around a dozen, some favourites...

Like you say, they are relatively cheap, fun to own, easy to modify, and if you get an 'atomic' model, 100% accurate!
 
On eBay there was a whole lot of 1980'S watches the guy had bought the stock from an old watch shop. Had some really nice things for sale but beyond my price range. Settled for one that looked like a watch from the 80's and would go with jeans.
 
I got my 2000 Breitling chrono avenger last year and I love it. Can't wait to get another watch but there are other priorities at the moment

Wow!! If you click on the link in your post, you get to a Breitling priced at over £47,000. Now, that's a serious watch :)
