I keep reading how the Semogues recent LE Finests are an improvement even over the Semogue Owners Club. I wish I hadn't passed over the BC Texugo and the recent Horn handle LE now, since I get on with the SOC knot so well!

Green theme, tonight and a first go with this new to me Durham Duplex. I got a lovely hand-written note with the razor. Who says eBay can't be personal?

As I suspected, the blade has really settled down and I was treated to a very smooth shave with no issues, no nicks, no irritation, no fear, just a great shave! The blades are rigid and reassuringly sharp, but somehow very forgiving in these razors. The guard provides the right angle and the shave proceeds quite naturally thereafter.

Veg to finish ...

Mon Night.

Bats were out. Badgers too. On my Face!!

It's sharp, it's not fussy, My Le Coq is a little French Hussy.

Late shave, Some odd dead sea gel on the face, Le Coq and Sputnik teflon.

Not enough hot prep.

Few blood spots.

Some cooling AS balm after to quieten things down.

Now the house is resting.

Waiting for the onslaught of another day.
