Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Proraso pre-shave - sensitive
Soap: Speick soap stick
Brush: MÜHLE Kosmo silvertip synthetic
Razor: ATT R2 Kronos
Blade: Astra SP (1)
After: M&S Harvard AS, Murdock Avalon ASB
First time use of this open-comb Above The Tie razor. Impressions: Well build, solid, holds the blade very firmly. The actual shave felt like a Fatip but not as aggressive/dangerous as that. It even sounds like a Fatip as you can hear the bristles pinging away. I liked the extra length of the handle compared to a Weber Bulldog, but not too long that makes it awkward to use.
Result was an easy, very smooth, comfortable shave with no irritation but BBS results. That's my kind of razor.
Also first time with Speick soap. Easy to use and excellent performance, what I expected actually so full marks for that.
Happy day, folks.
