Monday 15 April

The best by far half blade razor that I have tried to date, the LEAF Thorn. Bbs with zero fuss and no bother, a much better finish than yesterday with Parker Solo Edge. Same blade, Gillette 7 o’clock sharp edge.
The SV soap has a delicate scent, less prominent than other SV soaps in my collection, still creamy soft and lasting.
Now for :coffee: and contemplate the rain lashing down here before deciding on a walk on the wild side!

Have a good day fellas!

A very nice, comfortable and more than socially acceptable two pass shave. As close as yesterday’s Blackbird? No, fortunately, considering the price difference. Would I be happy with the DE89/R89, certainly, if I hadn’t joined this forum. Thanks guys.

My Artisinal April Shave today consisted of...
Prep Aleppo soap.
Brush Highlander LE2023 Badger.
Soap Signature soaps Valentia.
Razors Leaf & Blackland Vector CC
Blade Feather Pro (3)
Aftershave Jean paul gaultier Scandal.

Today I put the CC onto the Vector to see if there was a difference in shave now I am more experienced.
I did get a lovely shave but still feel the OC gives that little bit closer shave. I am talking about a small difference but enough for me to feel it on the hand afterwards.
I will leave the CC on for another shave or two to be sure.
The Valentia soap gave a nice lather but for me personally the scent was just too subtle, I really prefer stronger scents but I know others would adore this.
Enjoy this odd weather everyone, so far it's poured it down following with brilliant sunshine and Topped off with massive hail showers ha ha, rinse and repeat all day.
Toodles.
