Back after an online hiatus whilst I sorted a few life issues out. Where do I start... The blade razor / combination was as good as any, but the soap was a bit of mixed bag. Fantastic fragrance and post-shave, but the lather is very flat; too flat in fact.​

another razor that always delivers for me but the astra blade was still quite rough. this soap is so close to being done that I can't chase it around any more. I've been breaking off a chunk of the ring and pressing it into a bowl to lather. maybe three more shaves?

I have an old Bath House soap and find it to be excellent. Mine is the fig one too.
Bought on a whim in one of these boutique-type shops well over ten years ago and was pleasantly surprised.

I have Bath House Bergamot and Amber. It’s fine but doesn’t lather that well with our hard water in Sussex.

Oddly I have the Orange flower which is the same clay based soap if I'm correct and not the best or easiest to lather
