A superb two pass shave this morning. The Cadman created a wonderful lather and the Feather razor its usual comfortable shave. If you’re wondering what happened to the Omega boar I’ve sent it for a three day holiday at the back of my fridge immersed in cold water, then I’ll try again.

Over the moon with that one. A great lather from the MDC Vétyver sample, i have 1 shave left from it. I made the lather loose, however, that is easier said than done with MDC soaps, i started with a garden pea size piece in the Copper bowl and just added drops of water until i got to something like i required, it takes a lot of water, i finished the lathering on the face dipping the brush tips once to get it just right.
I completed 2 passes and some light touch up for a (mostly) comfortable BBS finish. The blade was singing throughout and the edge was so smooth, i did have the spine close to the skin today.
A nice post shave routine finishing with a splash of "our 'enry's" favourite giving some slight indication on my jawline.
A very happy shaver this morning.
Stay safe and enjoy your day all.

The SLOC/7OCSP combo is killer. Smooth and efficient.

Sewickley Jade soap is new to me, but it was an impressive first shave. I'm bad with first impressions of scents so I'll just leave it as subtle and clean/fresh. The performance was fabulous. Creamy and slick. BBS+

I finished with Osage Rub for a tingly start to the day. The face feel from that Sewickley is impressive.

After a few days away being tied to objects while pulling away, I return finally to a shave and an SOTD themed, 'Washing machines and big cats'

'The washing basket dance'

Many thanks do go to a certain TSR member who very kindly gifted me a few items used in this shave. You know who you are and big congratulations today for an event I am sure you will let loose on this community.

Tiger blades? Never bloody heard of them, but then again I can be a bit of a dinosaur and known to eat twigs from higher branches. But what a very nice performer. Superbly smooth and efficient in the Nodachi and from a razor perspective a wonderfully smashing showing. One awkward weeper above the upper lip but nothing unusual there as I do shave under the nose with two passes and the second being ATG. Just the way I go about it and sometimes a little irritation just opens things up for a short while.

Laundry II shaving soap? Now I am not sure if this is Laundry II as in the film 'Laundry's Eleven' and a plot to steal washing machines from a casino, or 'My beautiful launderette 2, the rise of the tumble dryers'. Amazingly it does smell rather like a crisp clean white shirt in a Daz kind of fashion. But a very nice easily lathered soap with great qualities and overall a smashing performance even if the scent is Daz, or possibly Persil?

At the end if the day a most my beautiful launderette shave and it only needed the most gorgeous Goutal and its fresh approach. Eau Sauvage with a more sophisticated air about it. Give me the Goutal any day.

A shave with highlights to be sang out by those Japanese ladies the Highmarts.

And to end on and just to let you know, I love you all.

Hope you're still doing well @mpf9ret . Let me know when you're well and back home and I'll send some ladies from the Land of the Rising Sun to make sure your laundry is tip top.
