A very nice shave today with the Schick Band razor, the blade has had 6 shaves on it with touch ups and is still as good as it was when 1st put in. It does not feel like the new sharp DE/SE blades, maybe a touch dull, not tugging but giving a lot of feedback through the head, although it works fine for my medium weight stubble. I know they did not get a lot of love in their day, however, i find using the same shave angle as any vintage injector it provides a comfortable, safe shave. 3 passes with some touch up today for an easy BBS finish.
The more i use both the Brit and Egyptian Ingram's the more i feel they are alike, i find there is nigh-on no difference. They are both good creams.
Enjoy your day all.

Kent Shaving Soap
Thayer’s Lavender witch hazel
Pitralon Classic a/s

Finally managed to get a good and stable lather from Mitchell’s, and it’s actually Kent.
The Fat is a superb product when it works.
The exemplary factor is the incredible post shave feel. Slickness and cushion are also truly excellent.

Enjoy yours gents.

Back to my favourite soap and it lathered up wonderfully with this brilliant brush.
A dam fine shave was had from a very tired boy,
Home next week sometime & it won’t come quick enough

Once you get used to this razor shaving with it is a piece of cake. After all the shaves so far as I acknowledged earlier it is certainly a medium aggressive razor which may not suit everyone specifically the ones with more of a sensitive skin or daily shavers. However, coupled with the right blade it becomes a super comfortable and efficient whisker removal tool.
I'll have one final shave with it tomorrow and start making preparations to pass it over to the next participant.

Prep - Imperial Leather face wash

Bowl - Glass
Brush - Haryali sympathetic
Soap - La Barbiera Classic soap + remains of Arko stick
Razor - Baili BD177
Blade - Treet Platinum (4)

Post - face wash with lather remains, cold rinse, alum, Forest Fresh ASL, Nivea Sensitive ASB, Hidden Code Sports EDT

A few different bits - soap mix-up, warm post shave face wash, and of course not a Merkur razor. Thought I’d give the Baili a workout (provisionally named Goldie, maybe). End result - nice feeling face after a nice shave, bit of alum sting on neck - don’t think the Baili is as effective as either Merkur so went over some skin more than usual. But overall, good shave and the Treet still going strong.
