Well I did mention that B&M Tuesday is a favourite as is today's soap of the day Seville! It is one of my fav barbershop scents. Just so good with a nice citrus kick. I stand by the statement I could use both exclusively but what fun would that be?!

Today's razor the Merkur Mergress 500 or regular handle. I am not one for long handles and my Progress is also a regular handle version. Just a great razor and though some say the Mergress is superior to a Progress, I simply see it as a hot rodded version of the same.

Lovely two pass shave with a little buffing and DFS achieved. Not a lot of work for the Mergress today but still a thoroughly enjoyable shave. Quick spritz of Acqua di Parma Colonia Ezzenza and ready for the work week! Stay safe and enjoy your shaves!

I still have my Wilko shave soap. Every few years when I think my lathering technique has improved I'd get it out and try a lather. It just doesn't happen for me. I should give it another go really. Been a few years.

I nice comfortable two pass shave with a third just doing the pick ups.

The Wilko soap i find with extra effort i can achieve a acceptable solid, well lubricated lather for my shave, it does however take longer than most other shaving soaps, due to it not being a luxurious product...It works for me. (y)

PS: i also like Williams Mug shaving soap too,another soap with love/hate opinions.

New soap day today - this is a fresh sea-side scent that is supposed to have some old spice scent. To me, I didn't quite get much old spice but I did get the ocean vibe from it - it has the salty air scent to it. Very nicely done and a good scent for a spring/summer day.

Flat Bottom tech is kicking butt in the performance dept - this razor feels smooth and getting very close to BBS is not taking a lot of effort these days.

Pre:


Cold wet flannel to my face.


Pears Transparent Soap Bar / Wilko Men's Shave Oil.


Brush : Omega Midget.



Face Lather.



Soap: Proraso ~ Eucalyptus & Menthol.



Blade: Lord ~ Silver Star Super Stainless.(3)


Razor: Baili ~ BD177 Rose Gold TTO.


Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade peppermint eucalyptus, Tea Tree , lemon essential Oils + menthol crystals Witch Hazel Mixture./Giorgio Beverly Hills ~ Ocean Dream ASL.


Nivea Men ~ Cooling PSB.

Early morning cold water shave.

Over the past few months out of all the razors that i've re-acquainted myself with the baili BD177 has totally amazed me how much of a incredibly good razor it is, each and every shave that i've had with this super-speed clone has been consistantly good.

A pleasurable 3 pass + pick ups near BBS shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Nivea Men ~ Cooling PSB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)
