Greetings,

(Face & Head Shave)

A wonderful performance from the Ever-Ready 1914.

I have repeated myself in many of my postings by saying if I had known how wonderful smooth, & efficient SE razors where especially Injector razors when i first ventured into the wonderful world of traditional wet shaving I probably wouldn't have bought a DE razor as they provide and give everything that is required for a close comfortable shave.

Another close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Creightons Sensitive PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

Enjoy your day all.

Well that was pleasant, this is what I would call an idiot proof (good thing considering the user) or hangover razor, get a decent finish despite a frazzled or inattentive mind.

Try it today starting on a 4, thought it would be a safe bet. Took me a minute to get the angle then away I went. Very very smooth, had to check the sink too make sure it was removing something. Re-lather and crack on for the final pass, again no fuss. Quick feel and clear up a couple of areas for a very smooth finish.

Think I'll crank it up to max tomorrow, but I am very pleased. This is no Ambassador, for which I am very thankful as no matter what I did I couldn't get on with that one.

Hope everyone has a grand one.

Cheers

Marc

Edit: The one thing that did bug me is the shortish stubs on the top cap. If they could be just a little longer it would be ideal.

Saturday 7 September

Still trying to wear out the Feather Pro Guard but it’s still going strong after 5 uses. I’m drawn to the OREN more and more these days as it’s such a joy to use especially with the PRO guard and today was no exception. After applying a good lather with The Colonel, a very soft feel Simpson badger the Oren dealt easily with the stubble in two passes and pick ups.
I’m also using Saponificio soaps and after shaves, simply the best.

Have a great weekend fellas!

Hi hope you are well. Could I ask what the handle is I’m looking for one similar.

Soap - Canada Shaving Soap
Brush - Highlander LE
Razor - Gillette FB Tech
Blade - Wilkinson Sword New Chromium Edge (7)
AS - Makler Attraction

My first time using the Canada Shaving Soap, one of the easiest soaps I've ever used to get a lather with. A tiny amount on the brush seems to explode into a mass of shiny gloss lather. Good protection and slick for the razor to glide across the face.

Another fantastic shave with this old Wilk too.

Also the first time I have used this new Makler splash. I like it a lot.

Have a good weekend gents.
