Provided that you take your time and concentrate , the “Streamline” delivers an extremely close all round finish such as the one I had today. Most modern AC/SE seem rather tame after using this Classic Razor

Soap: Declaration Grooming Trismegistus
Razor: Feather AS-D2
Blade: Vintage NOS Gillette 'Swede' (4)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel, Antica Barbieria Colla Almond Oil Balm

A beautiful shave. Muscle memory is kicking in with the relatively narrow sweet spot of the AS-D2 - three passes and only a couple of touch-ups for a BBS result.

Soap - Palmolive Stick
Brush - Omega 80265 (other one)
Razor - Fat Handle Tech
Blade - Astra SP (6)
Post - Witch Hazel
Balm - Nivea Replenishing
AS - Benjamin's Bay Rum Mentholated

Yesterday I made a fairly decent effort to revive one of my 80265's so I turned my efforts in attempting to revive my other 80265, which in comparison to the other 80265 this one has a denser knot & softer tips but it was a brush I could never really get to hold a lather and had issues with the brush shedding as well.
I soaked the brush in distilled water and gave it a shampoo and test lather and used the brush for today's shave and the brush was better than I expected but it still ate a bit of lather, and at the end of the shave I gave it a comb through and couldn't quite believe how tangled the brush was! It was a brush I used before discovering shaving forums, and I imagine the huge number of tangles might have been down to aggressively mashing the brush to poor lathering technique.
The shave itself was a pretty good one, the ASP worked a lot better in the FHT than the BET I used yesterday.

Anyway chaps, have a good start to the week.
