I like that what is it
It's a Maratac mid sized pilot watch (40mm)I like that what is it
If you have a straight, diamond lapping film is ideal. Wet the glass, as a sanding block I've used a new eraser tipped pencil & glued the film onto it with a dab of super glue.I have a fairly deep scratch in the crystal of one of mine, best method/product to get it out?
Sorry about the reflections in the glass.
A nice collectors item there fella Longines attempt to fight off the impending world domination of quartz watches.
A very high beat 36,000bph movement. The higher the beat rate, the more accurate the movement. Problem being, keeping the lubrication where's its supposed to be with parts moving at high speed!
Nice.
Not a great fan of pandas to be fair but a nice piece all the same
Man after my own heart, shoes & watches, I drive my wife nuts too, she says I was a woman in a former life as no man should like shopping as much as I do lolDear Orangesport,
Please refrain from posting vivid and incredibly tempting pictures of your beautiful watches and inviting others to do so. I am still trying to cope with my husband's addiction to brogues and other such expensive, English-made footwear. It would seem that I can trace said shoe obsession back to you and your lovely Loake brogue collection. I want a new kitchen and that fat bugger is getting no more!
Yours cordially,
Mrs Gairdner (SWAMBO)
P.S. in case you are wondering, the 'A' stands for 'Absolutely'.....:icon_twisted:
A lot of the earlier watches only had one hand, depending on how far between the hour markers gave you the "minus" timeOne handle ?
