Just read about Star Noir. Inspired by Bowie, very clever title.
I like the sound of Baskerville, thing is I'm not sure their soaps agree with me. I've only used Spitfire so far but I get a light stinging sensation when using it. I'm fine afterwards and no redness.
I've just ordered some spitfire too, fingers crossed it will be fine .

Yes see what you mean regarding David Bowie, very clever indeed.

The Kai SE disposable razors have intrigued me for quite a while now...

The Noxema disposable razors sold at various "Dollar" type stores in the USA use KAI blades. Having used a couple of those and the KAI stainless DE blade you have my permission to shoot me if I ever use another. Some of the roughest shaves it has been my displeasure to have.

The Kai SE disposable razors have intrigued me for quite a while now - I mean a KAI-made disposable SE razor that many people actually like - and even compare it to the Mongoose...and that cost $2-3 for five razors..AND an option for SS or Carbon blade... I just had to find out for myself how they are:)
The handle is folded metal btw.

"Normally" these razors are either the Blue (Carbon blade) or Gold-S (SS).
You can order either of them on Rakuten Blue and Gold . Me, I was lazy and picked up my packages on Amazon in a box with all Japanese so no idea what will be inside them (I'm guessing maybe blue..or green(?) as it says carbon blades...

Far to mild for me and didn't get a decent shave to be honest.

Very lightweight and easy to use but the safety bar seemed to get clogged far too easy?

Spent USD 20 / GBP 15 in total and picked up these little things:

1) A Schick Grip.
Never tried one and this seemed like a good opportunity to do so

2) Four carts;
- NIB Gillette Fusion (the one with five blade carts AND one more on the back for detailed trimming), woohoo!,
- NIB Gillette Sensor Excel w/ two carts,
- NIB, vintage Gillette Trac II demonstrator razor, and
- what looks like a black Gillette Atra handle and four carts

Just ordered a USA Gem Damaskeene from Etsy. I haven't figured out how to embed the image. Looks good, though. It says 1910 vintage, but I reckon 1912 onwards. I believe they're not bad shavers (Billy, where art thou?) ☺☺
