Thanks you. The Fat boy is the only one I've cleaned up so far, shaved with it tonight and yesterday, superb very smooth and amazing for kit that's 66 years old. I was very lucky as its in excellent condition.

The vintage Gillettes really are good...built to last too. Fatboys can reach anything between £70-£100 on the 'Bay and elsewhere...they're on my 'coveted' list ;-)

I'd been loaned a vintage slim adjustable (which I can now return) but didn't really get on with it? The fat boy is much smoother (although under the nose against the grain is much harder than my normal 34C)

Not shaving relating in the least - but it was great to get my brass spinner in the mail yesterday.
Played around with it most of Sunday while doing errands - and having beers - downtown in the sun. Fun, harmless fidgety stuff.
