Receiving a @Hone razor is quite the experience - it's class and sophistication through and through.

The box and packaging is clean and simple yet very attractive...

..and there it is...nesting comfortably... the Brass 15 w/ 100mm handle...

The longer handle is ideal for me. This thing is a beast and I can't wait to try it out next week! :)

We'll see if I can put the same amount of wear and 'patina' on the Hone 15 as I have on my brass spinner

Question...do you know how much the long handled Hone weighs?
 
a white(ish) wardonia, in its travel case, with a box of crunchy rust that used to be their "barrel hole" blades. £4 in the tat shop opposite Hillsborough park tram stop. i tried the accurate modification of some blades but gave up and just snapped out chunks so the blade has a good bit of movement until its tightened up, then its fine. easy enough to line up, but then i also have a fatip! nice and medium on the aggression side, quite noisy. there were 2, so there might be another left if anyone in sheffield wants it!
