I now see why the Black Mamba is so sought after. It delivers a nice mild and smooth shave. I ordered the Oristo Sheen and if it shaves anything like the Mamba I'm going to be in love!

I want to love this not so humble brush.
It works right for what I need, whip up into the bowl and daub after my face, without exfoliation effect. Need being careful, it is pricky. Like my earlier badger brushes.

Minty round tooth pre-1924 Shovelhead, very decent beard shave with an ancient fat shimmed GEM, followed by head shave with a GEM stainless with just a little touch up with the Hawk. Lovely razor, fine BBS shave.

Razor and Voskhod blade are holding up very well. One thing about using different soaps is that when I return to Route 66 soaps I remember why I like and use them so much. Not a bad soap in the Route
66 lineup.
