[Ferry-shave]

Saturday shave.

Pre-shave - Warm shower, Village Barbour Pre Shave Oil.
Razor - Muhle Rocca R96.
Blade - Astra SP (day 1).
Soap - L'Occitave Cade Rich Shaving Cream
Brush - Simpsons Chubby 2 - Synthetic.
Post shave - Cold water rinse, Mysol "Plastic shave" splash and L'Occitave Cade Balm.

Fantastic shave, good efficient 2 pass with the Rocca, no issues. The icing on the cake was the post shave - first time I have used the Plastic shave splash followed by the Cade Balm - an excellent pairing if I may say so, I appreciate YMMV. Skin felt very soft and supple, it still does some 8 hours after shaving.

Very good shave with these tools. The Timeless .95 OC is a fantastic razor period and with the Personna Tungsten Steel blade just improves the razor if that is possible. This blade is truly amazing. The Shavemac Zebra with their 2 Band is a work of art. All of the Reef Point Soaps I used this month performed outstanding.
I'll have a new lineup starting tomorrow.

3 Drops of Wilkinsons Shaving Oil: / Fruits: Rhubarb & Vanilla Body Butter.

Brush: Semogue 1438.

Cream : The Real Shaving Co. Traditional Shave Cream.

Blade: Derby Extra. (1)

Razor: Parker 98R.

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Lavender oil & Witch Hazel Mixture./David Beckham: Instinct A/S.

Superb close 2pass shave.

The best adjustable razor I came across yet. Unfortunately this exemplary is a bit battered and smells metallic during the shave.

Argan oil.

Very good, very enjoyable shave. Face-lathered the cream to give bountiful lather. Cream didn't offer quite as much protection as I fancied today so after half a pass I started again after applying a layer of argan oil. Great all round, nearly smooth except for those [censored] patches by my Adam's apple. I'm really liking this razor...

P.s. I'm now quite chilly.

Am at last coming to terms with this Razor. On a plate 3 with a modern Schick " Chick" it provides a very smooth and
comfortable shave, with enough blade feel to let you know how its going. The overall Shave finish is good, but not ultra close thus eliminating the risk of soreness or post shave irritation.

The soap used today was a sample, provided by James@Acer89. During the Shave it worked well, but proved that I have no nose for scent and its not the soap for me as I developed a slight rash. A bonus is that I can cross this off the wish list , as I have been stopped from making a purchase of a product that does not suit me - so in fact James has done me a favour. Anybody like to try this sample, and Cashmere PM me.
