Gilette Guard
Plisson Synthetic
DR Harris Arlington Cream
Bulldog Sensitive Balm
Acqua di Parma EdT

This was an interesting shave. I've had a Gilette Guard and a few carts for a while now but never managed to get a particularly great shave out of it. Earlier today I put a heavy metal bolt into the handle, stuck it in place with a bit of SuperGlue and decided to give it another shot. The added weight makes for an pretty good shave overall and a DFS was obtained in two passes.

Pre Shave: Hot Shower, Bulldog Face Wash and Proraso Red
Razor: PAL Injecto-matic
Blade: Chinese Schick (#2)
Brush: Kent BLK4
Soap: Cella
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Thayers unscented
AS: Lucky Tiger Bay Rum + a little Nivea Originals ASB

A fantastic shave today, this is only the second time I have used the PAL Injecto-matic and the result was superb. Three passes, no nicks or weepers, no irritation and one very smooth face at the end of it.

I found the PAL very quick to get the hang of, getting the angle right seems quite intuitive, very pleased with this Razor.

Pre: Gillette Series Irritation Defence Pre Shave Wash
Razor: Gillette English SuperSpeed Red Tip
Blade: Gillette 7O'Clock Green Super Stainless (1)
Soap: Wickham Russian Leather (Sample)
Brush: Razorock 400 24mm Synthetic
Post: Dove Hydrate Post Shave Balm

New brush and new blade (well for me anyway). Bowl lathering for a change, the backbone provided by the Razorock 400 sure whipped a good lather indeed. I will continue to evaluate over the next few days.

Brush: Rod Neep #1810 - Short Retro Deluxe
Razor: Hone Type 15
Soap: Stirling Mountain Man
Post: Al-Rehab Silver

Giving the brush another run out, very impressed yesterday. Made a good lather and same again today. I loved Aventus and Aventus clones but since sampling Silver Mountain Water and its clones, it is number one for me currently. When clones like Al Rehab Silver smell so good (and have fantastic longevity) I can see me paying 20x as much for the real thing.
Much nicer shave today, Ladas blade with the Hone. Felt smoother than the Treet Carbon.

What a beautiful brush. [emoji1]
