Hone 22 ?

If you take a look at the Hone website, https://www.hone-shaving.com/ there is a teaser, which suggests that a Hone 22 will be comming soon.

No more clues from the website. I was wondering if Hone are about to launch a stainless steel version of their DE razor?
There is a massive clue, 22 on the periodic table is Titanium ( Ti )
Oh I do hope so......:)

So do I. A stainless version would, I guess, be even heavier than the brass; which, to my mind, is at the upper end of weight/practicality scale. It would probably make a good tack hammer.

The diagram is that for Ti.

Other way round, brass is heavier than stainless.
Indeed, but not by much. My calculations back when the Hone 15 came out gave 147g for a stainless Hone, compared to 164g for the brass, so there would be not much of a difference.
Titanium would be a good choice as it is markedly heavier than aluminium and much lighter than brass.
The questions is: how much will it cost? I fear it will be upwards of £200. I have no inside knowledge though and will happily be proven wrong.

I think you can guarantee its going to be well in excess of £200 for a full Ti 15.

Wow that is intelligent did you learn that or did you read they were releasing a Titanium version
It was the symbol with the 22 in the middle I recognised as the periodic symbol and number for Ti, I don't think its been released yet that they are making a Ti Hone. Just luck and a good memory. :) Those dots in the diagram represent the number of electrons for Ti....22 :)
