Tues 11th April
Omega 11126 boar
Speick Active
ES R/R Claymore
Schick Proline P-20 [ 5 ]
Tuff Green A/S lotion

Despite its weight I really enjoy Shaves with the Claymore. Today the Shave was very good, was particularly effective on the upper lip, chin and along the jaw line.Probably my best Shave with it.

Be interesting to see how the heavier Brass General compares tomorrow, as I have just received the
Loan of one from James@Acer89.

This knife since the time I caught my attention, I like and much enjoy this steel from Sheffield England, on the engraved sheet reads "Keen as is this razors edge invisible" Shakespeare, Love's Labor Lost, and to the side the poet's face.
Great shaves today friends.

Tuesday 11th April

Prep: Olive oil
Soap: Proraso White
Brush: Gecko Beehive 26mm Finest
Razor: Razorock Hawk w/Kai Captain
Post: Cold water, alum, Myrsol F./Extra, witch hazel.

First shave with the RR Hawk, very pleased with it, didn't take long to find the angle and I was away, some how missed a spot on my neck which will bug me, felt a little unwieldy at times with the handle being so light. Very little sting from the alum, all in all a comfortable clean looking shave.

SOTD 11th April.JPG
Pre Shave: Hot Shower, L'Oreal Hydra Power Face Wash and Proraso white
Razor: iKon 101 + OSS Handle
Blade: Shark Super Chrome (#1)
Brush: Plisson Pure Badger
Soap: Cella
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Humphreys witch hazel
AS: Nivea Originals Replenishing Balm

First shave with a Shark Super Chrome blade, very smooth but not a very close result, I have to admit the iKon 101 is great, but not with all blades, looks like this maybe one of those that do not make for a perfect match. I have found that most Lord blades I try work well for me but I recall using Shark Super Stainless when I first started to shave with a DE Razor and it not being a smooth shave, I definitely recall some irritation. Now, I suspect if I tried one it would feel a lot better.

I also decided to give the Plisson another chance after messing up a shave with La Toja cream the other day, my fault not the brush, well it made light work of the Cella soap, I got a great lather from the Cella, the Plisson is bit floppy but it works well.
