Pre Shave: Hot Shower + L'Oreal Pure Power Charcoal Face Wash and Proraso Green
Razor: Rocnel SE-G (Pass around)
Blade: GEM PTFE (#3) (Modified by rounding the corners off)
Brush: Vie Long Horse Hair
Cream: Truefitt & Hill No. 10
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Humphreys Witch Hazel
AS: Alcolado Glacial

Third shave with the Rocnel SE-G pass around, another nice two pass shave and no weepers this time, I think I am getting the hang of this razor. I must be getting more confident with the razor as it all felt quite relaxed but I found I was shaving more quickly too. The Vie Long brush may not be much to look at but it works great, some of the outer hairs are starting to go out of shape but apart from that it is a great little brush.

Tuesday evening...

Soap - Tabac Original
Brush - RazoRock Plissoft 24mm
Face lather
Razor - Gillette Slim Adjustable (7)
Blade - Gillette 7 o' Clock Green
Post - Thayer's
After Shave - Speick

My first outing with the Speick. Its smell is subtle and doesn't hang around. But then it is an aftershave, not an EdT or EdP. What fragrance there is is nice though; sort of lemony and slightly herby to me. It does deliver in the post shave feel department: like a good aftershave should. So, a keeper.

All other components worked beautifully in a classic shave tonight.

First day in Bali! Brought a Black Mamba, a tin of I Coloniali and a Razorock Bruce synthetic. I'll finish with Lea AS. I'll be using this setup for the two weeks that I'm here. Future photos may be redundant but I'm expecting interesting environs.

Pre: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Semogue SOC Boar
Soap: Wickham 1912 Club Cola

Razor: Merkur Futur (2)
Blade: Vintage Gillette Super Silver (3)
Post: Osma Aftershave balm
EDT: GFT Eucris

A rare am shave for me. My first use of the current Wickham 1912 range - I still use their earlier Imperial Tonic soap. The Club Cola performed like a champ.
Amazingly accurate cola scent, and lovely lather. The soap scent worked well with Eucris.

Greetings All,

Wednesday shave.

One days' growth and warm shave

Preparation – face washed with Clique Liquid facial soap (mild)

Pre: None
Soap: Proraso Red
Razor: Rockwell 6C (3P)
Blade: Polsilver (1st)
Brush: Proraso Omega brush

Post Shave: Cold water rinse, Alum, re-rinse, then a shower and to conclude Proraso aftershave lotion (red) and Nivea Sensitive.

I do not know if it was dropping down aggression with the Rockwell from 4 to 3 and becoming blasé with the razor. I do not think it was the Polsilver blade nor the thick creamy Proraso Red shaving soap, but had a troubled shave this morning. Nothing overly bad, a nick here, a weeper there. Thinking about it, I do not believe I was one with my shave this morning, but still 3 passes (WTG, XTG and ATG) very smooth but did not leave my bathroom feeling joyful.

Cheers.

Prep....Shower ~ Olive oil soap
Razor....ER 1912~Brass , Made in England ,fitted with bakelite handle
Soap....Dusy Kabinett
Brush....Razorock silvertip Synth
Blade....ER Corrux freshly stropped NOS
Post....BBA Post Shave Balm
Scent....Tabacco Vanelle , Tom Ford copy oil from Mr Perfume

Wonderful close smooth shave, the 1912 was easy to hold and control using the fat bakelite handle, the Dusy Kabinett soap produced a great protective lather with help from the Razorock silvertip synth and I was left smooth skinned with zero irritation .

Have a great day people........:)
