This my favourite of the VCs that I own and I think the sole reason is, it takes a Gem blade rather than the Feather.
A very enjoyable shave ensued on a wet, miserable and cold Monday morning.

Prep: Hot towel
Pre shave: Prep
Razor: Sensor Excel
Blade: N/A
Brush: New Forest Tubby 1 Finest
Soap: Skaneateles Soap Company: Lemon Ice
Post: Cold water rinse / Witch Hazel / The Sudsy Soapery: Lavender & Peppermint Aftershave Splash

A lamb tallow, lanolin and goat's milk soap from Skaneateles Soap Company, a soapmaker that I discovered on Etsy... Well, colour me impressed... the lather took a bit of work, being a thirsty beast, but boy oh boy what an impressive lather... a very lush lather, offering excellent protection and slickness, providing the base for a faultless shave.. Yeah, that really was an outstanding shave.

Omega 11126 boar
Lea Classic Soap
Schick N1
Schick Proline ( 4 )
Lea Classic A/S lotion

A repeat of Saturdays Shave with an N1, which was very good as I have come to expect from Injectors fitted with an AC blade rather than a standard Injector blade.

Today was as expected a smooth and easy Shave with a really close all round finish.Just wonder how the Razor will perform when used with a Twin blade.

SOTD

Pre: Art Of Shaving Lemon Pre-Shave Oil
Soap: Arko
Razor: Muhle Rocca
Blade: Feather (1)
Brush: Simpsons Wee Scot
Post: Hot & Cold Water Rinse
A/S: Blue Stratos
Balm: L'Occitane Cedrat

Superb shave. I've tried a few different blades in the Muhle Rocca and so far the Feather has given me the best, most comfortable shave. I'm not a big fan of these blades but in this razor it was a perfect match. The Simpsons wee Scot brush was great fun to use, although I did have to go back to the puck at the start of each pass, but what a cracking wee brush.

Remember...size isn't everything! Have a great week
