Razor: Merkur Futur Clone
Blade: Astra SP, 1st use
Brush: Knothead Brush Works 26mm AP Shave Co. Synbad
Bowl: Captains Choice Copper Lather Bowl Standard Bowl
Preshave: PAA Cube Unscented Soap
Soap: Signature Wicstun Puck
Aftershave: Yaqi/Master Soap Creations Lemon, Lime And Cedarwood Aftershave
Balm: Baxter Of California Aftershave Balm
Additional Care: Osma Laboratoires Alum Block

Thought I’d revisit my only remaining adjustable and my 2nd razor a Futur clone. It was a perfectly acceptable shave, not as smooth as I’d hope but I’m guessing that was more to me being out of practice with it. Definitely milder than the actual Futur but will be added to my rotation again now the Blackbird has flown!
The Wicstun was lovely, the Signature base really is one of my best and is easily as good or better than many of the the big USA or European artisans I’ve tried. It lathers quickly and easily and the scent is a lovely blend of citrus and patchouli, which I was unsure as to how they would work together however neither overpowers the other and this is just spot on! All and all a lovey Sunday shave!
Enjoy your day guys.
Thanks @LeeMaz I really appreciate your comments. Best Regards Brian

Alpha G4 Syn 28mm
Vitos Super Red
Schick C1 OC
Schick Proline ( 4 )
Tuff Red A/S Lotion

Today I rounded off this Injector rotation with an an oldie. A lot of modern Injectors are so easy to Shave with, whereas the C1 requires your full attention during a Shave. This Shave is very satisfying as not only was it mishap free but the finish quality is rather good.

Razor: Gillette Tech
Blade: Sputnik Blade, 2nd use
Brush: Omega #625 silver tip badger
Bowl: Captains Choice Copper Lather Bowl Standard Bowl
Preshave: Proraso Pre-Shave Cream Sensitive Cream
Soap: Tabac Original Puck
Aftershave: Tabac Original Cologne
Balm: L’Oréal All In 1 Moisturising Cream Balm
Additional Care: Osma Laboratoires Alum Block

Not the smoothest shave I’ve got out the Tech, but a DFS none the less, I blame the blade! My little Omega is still great as is the original Tabac, I can’t help but be a fan of both the lather and scent.
Have a good day guys, it was a good first day off for the next couple of weeks.

Evening all,

Prep, hot water and flannel
Brush, Boti Blue
Razor, Karve Brass
Blade, Lords Silver Platinum (1st use)
Cream, Bond Spacequest
Post, Alum
A/S, Bond Spacequest
Music, James Blunt

A new cream but as some may already know, very keen on the Bond products. Soap lathered up very easily. Nice and thick and creamy. A nice scent. Not overpowering. Cream provided a good surface to work on.

Usual 3 grain pass. Zero issues and no irritation. Alum applied and no stinging. A nice clean and close shave very pleased.

Have a good evening all.

Best,

Ben

Lovely to pop a fresh blade into the Streamline. Combined with the soap, as near a perfect shaving experience as I can imagine.

Brilliant shave again
seems to be my war cry just now.
The Razor is 100% my favourite vintage at the moment, i just love it & could use it everyday if i had to. The soap for the people that don’t know is P&B’s take on Old Spice & for me it’s very close.
Topped up with the splash to finish off a great 3 pass shave.
One more shave for me tomorrow & im back to Norway on wednesday :(
ah never mind i guess i need to get back k to work.
Onwards & Upwards
