I thought I would be back and revisit an 'old school' soap that I found stashed away. Whilst I was expecting post shave to lag a little behind current offerings, surprisingly it was difficult to get a decent lather. We shall persevere...

I also dug out my old chunk of Vitos Red and I had a similar issue. When it dries out it, it can lose some of its magic. I found mixing it with a bit of glycerine seemed to do the job for reviving it.

Schick Super 11
NOS Schick Super 11 Ultrex ( 2 )
Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion

A very rare outing for me with this early Schick Cartridge Razor. Making sure that I did not rush or exert undue pressure the Shave went well, and I was rewarded with a super close all round finish with no post Shave irritation. From memory a much nicer experience than I got with Carts some 6/7 years ago.
Think this could be an excellent Travel Razor, and may well try it out on my next Weekend away.

Razor - Fatip Noble
Blade - Astra SP
Soap - MWF & Glycerine
Brush - Alpha Bulldog silvertip
Post - Refinery ASB
Frag - YSL Kouros

A very close shave, this is not a razor to use if you are in a rush to get out!
However, it gave me a great shave helped along by MWF no doubt.
Refinery ASB to finish along with the wonderful YSL Kouros, a spray here a little spray there, smelling wonderful!

Have a good day chaps.

Third shave with the Uddeholm Permasharp blade, this time paired with a Canadian Fat Tech.
It'll be interesting to see how many shaves I can get out of one of these, although I do have four other blades on the go at the moment that I'd quite like to finish!
Getting really good lathers from the HWF and quite happy to keep using this for the rest of the month.
Some more aftershave lotions and balms should be arriving imminently; until then the Bond balm is a nice option to finish a good shave.

Another first rate shave with the R41. A little time away from this razor appears to produced a greater understanding of it. My shaves are more than acceptably comfortable. A nice close shave and no danger at all, even with the Feather blade.
