Photo of the day

Wow, that's beautiful. What kind of wildlife do you find around there?

There is pretty much everything one would expect. Aside from all the common stuff, we have a lot of bears, wolves, bobcat, and mountain lion have made a big comeback in the last decade. Where I live it is just turning into "Big Woods". Fishing is phenomenal, and there are dozens of lakes within a thirty mile radius that you can't even get to without a four wheel drive and a decent walk with a kayak.

I did find this girl last week at work. Hard to tell from the pic, but she was better than a foot in diameter. Not a huge one, but still cool. Sitting on eggs and enjoying the sunshine.

'Mama Bear's Soaps' - The shave soap. Made in Wisconsin I think. I can't remember the woman's name that ran or runs the company. Glycerin based and highly scented. They had a huge scent range. Most of which had stupid names. Dragons were mentioned. You used to be able to get them from a UK online supplier but that doesn't seem to be the case any longer. I wish I had bought more at the time. I have a tub of Creme Brulee if you fancy trying it. You're taking me off topic - I'm trying to find a pic to post. cheers P. I

She is still around. Named Sue I think. She was wildly popular a few years ago, and still sells a lot of soap, but the artisan explosion seems to have pushed her to the back of the pack.

Great image of that bridge because of the houses and cars in front and in the back, you got a good impression of its size. I also like the colouration of the early evening. Well done P. ;)
Thankyou, it was an early morning shot, I think the light is great in both morning and evening, and early morning shots tend to have fewer people getting in the way! :)
